my stay was so enjoyable due to the beautiful gardens and the fantastic view over the pool area, making it a perfect spot to relax after exploring local attractions like the Captain James Cook Monument and Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park, both just a short stroll away.

everything was nice, i recommend. the room was reasonably large and spotless, there were climate control, flat-screen tv and a microwave. it had comfortable beds and an incredible view of sea. the location was comfortable and peaceful, for example, big island bees honey farm was around 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel.

Location: the hotel was just off local restaurants as well as the grocery store or restaurant. Furthermore, on the beach.

Diana's guidance made exploring easy and enjoyable.

The Moana Room felt outdated with office-style ceiling tiles!!! The bathroom lacked functionality, and the lumpy bed made for an uncomfortable sleep!!! Significant improvement needed to keep insects out!!!

My stay far exceeded my expectations! The cozy room came with a nice kitchenette and a fabulous view from the deck. The beautiful gardens around the hotel and the inviting pool area.

The pool area, framed by lush gardens, was perfect for lazy afternoons. Breakfast included fresh local fruits, elevating our experience (the papaya was a standout!). The owners were hospitable.

I found Luana Inn to be a great choice during my trip. The gardens around the hotel stood out. So well-maintained and colorful. My room was cozy, equipped with a small kitchenette that came in handy. The deck offered a lovely space to relax and enjoy the view. I also appreciated the pool area. It provided a nice spot for socializing. Wendy, the innkeeper, was approachable and cute when I needed information about the area. The room could use a ceiling fan to improve airflow. Navigating the light switches for adequate evening lighting was a bit tricky. I struggled with the vanity lights in the bathroom, which left me fumbling around a bit. The place has a lot of potential and charm, but a few upgrades would enhance the experience significantly.

It was a nice touch to have a microwave, electric kettle, and fridge in the double room, adding to the comfort of the stay, especially with a cozy bed.

The peaceful view over the pool area was fine. The breakfast with fresh fruits and local delicacies was a good start to the day. I appreciated the attentiveness and friendliness of the caretakers. The garden view was well maintained.

I stayed in a twin room with a private bathroom that was peaceful and conveniently located near the beaches, the island, and a grocery store, and also just 3 miles from the National Show Center.
